About me

I'm Christopher Díaz, a Junior Software Engineer.

I started in the field of development in 2013, playing short pieces of PHP code to manipulate a script called PHPost, which was a replica of the then popular Argentinian microblogging site called Taringa!.

I moved to the creation and sale of sites with Wordpress in 2014 until 2015, the year in which I dedicated myself to Social Media and the creation of content on platforms such as Facebook and YouTube. Until 2017, I got a decent video editing experience, mainly in Adobe Premiere.

Since 2018 my learning in terms of programming languages such as Python, Java, TS & JS was fundamentally theoretical until 2020, the year in which I started working both in software development and server maintenance.

Frontend & DevOps Engineer

I developed the web application of the company's main service and multiple sites, using React and NextJS. I was in charge of the administration of the servers and the maintenance of the CI/CD processes using Jenkins and GitHub Actions and Docker. I had extensive experience in managing NodeJS applications served with PM2 served through proxy with Nginx. I gained experience creating highly available databases with replicate slaves with MySQL, MariaDB and MongoDB.

Frontend developer based entirely on React. I was in charge of making the design implementations and the connections with the API of the service.

Fullstack Developer

I was in charge of the frontend development of the web application and the API Rest backend development. I made several implementations with third-party APIs, such as BunnyCDN for file hosting and I developed a video processor with JavaFX and FFmpeg to make them compatible with HLS. I made preparations to develop the mobile application of the service with Flutter.
